韓宜邦（Junior）過去上談話節目話題總不離夜店、把妹，近１年半，他鮮少上綜藝節目，因為正演出台視《雨後驕陽》、以及大愛戲劇，因戲還未上檔，外傳他沒通告混不下去了，他說：「我32歲了，想要有個像樣的作品，不想只上通告耍嘴皮。」

他過去是聊夜店話題的主角，給人輕浮的印象，有次他到夜店喝酒，有年輕人找他去把妹，讓他很詫異，「我才知道電視上講的，對年輕人影響很大。為讓故事有趣，我講得較誇張，實際上我並沒這樣做，我發現該負社會責任。」

他努力轉型成演員，一年多來，他都在中南部拍戲，回台北時才上綜藝，但不談夜店話題，「當綜藝咖，沒法搞笑到50歲，但演戲可以。」為了當稱職演員，他生活規律，閒暇就跑步、念劇本，從79公斤瘦到67，也戒菸了，「以前上通告月賺20萬，但出去玩都花光，現在一個月只賺10萬，卻存到錢，心裡也踏實。」
