UN上月糧援340萬敘人 仍未達援助目標

世界糧食計劃署(WFP)今天(3日)發布聲明，指11月對敘利亞約340萬名平民提供糧食援助，與10月份的人數相當，但是仍然少於該署每月設定的400萬人目標，主要是因為敘國內戰持續，使得工作人員無法深入一些較難抵達的地點，提供糧食援助。

世界糧食計畫署11月到達敘利亞境內8個區域，這些區域主要是在荷姆斯(Homs)和達拉(Deraa)等省份的鄉間，並且已有好幾個月無法與外界連繫。

聲明指出：「我們嚴重關切許多仍深陷交戰區內，處於水深火熱的敘利亞人民，這些地方包括大馬士革省(Damascus)及哈塞克(Hassakeh)等地的人民，其中許多地方甚至已有連續6個月，未能獲得來自外界的援助。」

另外，聯合國負責人道主義事務主管艾摩斯(Valerie Amos)，將於日內瓦時間今天稍後，就敘利亞的人道情況，向聯合國安理會做簡報。
