美跳傘出人命 2死者非生手

（法新社洛杉磯4日電） 美國警方今天證實，亞利桑那州跳傘活動中喪生的2人，國籍分屬德國及英國，跳傘經驗都非常豐富。

死者是40歲的英國籍男子奧羅克（KeironO'Rourke）及51歲德籍許梅爾（Bernd Schmehl）。

兩人昨天參與亞利桑那州約200人共襄盛舉的跳傘活動。

警方表示，兩人在距離地面不到91公尺的空中相撞，降落傘塌扁兩人墜落地面，許梅爾當場身亡，奧羅克則在被送到鄰近醫院後，宣告不治。

另外也有1人在跳傘時受傷，但跟這起空中相撞意外無關。

致力推廣跳傘運動的「亞利桑那州跳傘」（Skydive Arizona）發布聲明表示，2名死者都是經驗老道的好手，他們受邀參與這場200人跳傘活動，想要締造紀錄。

根據警方，許梅爾跳傘資歷超過1700次，過去半年跳了80次。奧羅克的跳傘資歷接近850次，過去半年來就跳了100次。（譯者：中央社林亭儀）
