【動新聞／綜合報導】台北市延吉街發生1死5傷的一氧化碳中毒意外，加拿大籍女子Lydia只差一天就要離台卻意外身亡，原因就是陽台窗戶緊閉，導致一氧化碳中毒。

發生意外的延吉街日租套房，裏頭分隔成兩個房間，這個月27號，3名台灣女生先投宿其中一間，隔天，加拿大籍女子Lydia也入住。
 
連日來疑似因為天氣太冷，Lydia將陽台的對外窗關上，但熱水器就安裝在曬衣間，30日凌晨瓦斯外洩後，三名台灣女生和一名來拜訪的朋友，一早起來因頭暈難受，打電話給阿姨（48歲）求救，阿姨一到現場，也感到不適，才報警求援，而這起意外共造成1死5傷。
 
警消初步判斷，Lydia的房間距離熱水器最近，所以中毒情況最為嚴重，而一氧化碳從Lydia的房間，經由客廳竄進隔壁房間，才導致另外4人也中毒。
