紐約洋基隊與多倫多藍鳥隊3連戰系列賽最終回，藍鳥隊靠著Edwin Encarnacion的2分彈，最後以7:2獲勝。

這場比賽洋基隊派出日籍王牌黑田博樹先發，沒想到他又無法幫球隊奪勝，最近5場先發出賽，4場都吞敗。

黑田主投5局，被打9支安打，失7分(5自責分)，投出4次三振，共用了99球，其中64顆是好球。

藍鳥隊首局就有攻勢，Ryan Goins二壘安打上壘後，Adam Lind獲保送，Brett Lawrie 的二壘安打先打回2分。

接下來洋基隊再發生嚴重的捕逸與傳球失誤，捕手Chris Stewart先是漏球，又傳一壘失誤，讓藍鳥隊J. P. Arencibia被三振但是順利上壘，藍鳥隊單局攻下4分。

2局下Encarnacion再以2分彈相助，藍鳥隊Jose Reyes3局下高飛犧牲打建功，藍鳥隊前5局就攻下7分之多。

洋基隊全場唯一得分是在4局上，Curtis Granderson、Alfonso Soriano獲連續保送，「A-Rod」Alex Rodriguez敲出適時安打先打回1分。

接下來新同學Mark Reynolds也敲出二壘安打送回Soriano，但是A-Rod在本壘前遭觸殺出局，洋基隊最後就以5分之差落敗。
