師大圖書館公館分館整修完工後的新樣貌，令人有耳目一新之感，9月17日舉行整修完工啟用茶會，校長張國恩、教務長陳昭珍、圖書館館長柯皓仁、理學院院長賈至達等人出席茶會。張校長表示，理學院圖書館的完工是經由眾人努力而來的成果，未來希望能帶動師大分部的生活機能，將師大文化氣息漸漸擴散至週邊社區。

　　理學院圖書歷經一年整修除了翻新外，並以使用者角度進行空間規劃。一樓增設「輕閱讀區」，可以在這邊閱讀漫畫、小說等較為輕鬆的書籍。另一旁新設立的科普專區，固定與理學院各系所合作策展，以達科學普及的目的，目前正展出由數學系教授洪萬生策畫的「當數學遇上文學」，本次展期為期半年。
