加盟火箭後回LA 魔獸遭噓

5日火箭來到洛杉磯挑戰快艇，這是「魔獸」霍華德(Dwight Howard)自加盟火箭後，再次回到洛杉磯打球，雖然這次主場球隊是快艇不是前東家湖人，但球場仍聽得到球迷噓聲。

早在賽前霍華德被介紹出場時，場邊就傳出球迷的噓聲，雖然地主球隊不是湖人，但仍看得出，霍華德在洛杉磯的「人緣」不是很好，聽到噓聲，霍華德臉色有些凝重。

霍華德在場上打球，球迷亦用噓聲伺候，對於洛杉磯球迷的「招待」，他表示不在意，「他們可以噓一百萬次，我還是繼續打。」

儘管不在意，但霍華德仍打得悶，此役受限犯規麻煩，導致出賽時間被壓縮，第一節開打前6分鐘就吞下2犯，該節還沒打完就已累計3犯，上半場上場時間相當少，全場投9中4攻下13分，罰球前4球都進後，後面6投1中。

霍華德另外搶下9籃板，加上另一中鋒艾西克(Omer Asik)的6分7籃板，兩人表現不及擁有勁爆體能的葛瑞芬(Blake Griffin)及喬丹(DeAndre Jordan)。

葛瑞芬與喬丹雖也有犯規過多的問題，但靠保羅(Chris Paul)的穿針引線，加上火箭少了霍華德在禁區坐鎮，讓他們能能輕鬆強攻籃下，保羅還與兩人在半場進攻時，多次上演空拋灌籃秀，葛瑞芬拿下18分7籃板；喬丹有11分9籃板。

霍華德短時間內不會再回到湖人與快艇共用主場史戴波中心(Staples Center)，不過很快就會在8日對上前東家湖人，對此他也表達，「沒必要去討論湖人，是我做了決定，是我離開湖人的。」

霍華德稱現在的環境他很滿意，「我很開心我現在在火箭，這是一個很棒的地方，每個人都應該向前努力，那些都結束了。」
