味全董事長魏應充今(5)日下午召開記者會再次向社會大眾道歉，期盼政府儘速公布檢驗結果，未來將從溯源管理，貫徹一條龍的管理流程，以最積極的態度進行味全公司相關商品退貨，並進行內部人員懲處，頂新製油總經理已自行請辭，魏應充隨即表示：「本人請辭台灣GMP協會理事長一職，以示負責。」 食品風暴延燒，日前味全董事長魏應充曾說，食品是良心事業，應該要童叟無欺才對得起消費者；魏應交1日出席活動做對聯「修合無人見，存心有天知」，橫批就是「良心」。未料，卻爆出頂新混用大統的油，味全21油品下架，重創消費信心。

而在爆出混油數天後，魏應充4日也首度自拍影片，向國人致歉，5日更在媒體大規模投放聲明，希望藉此挽回消費者信賴。
