冬運聖火升空 首度漫步太空

俄羅斯索契冬季奧運會明年2月才要登場，但新梗不斷的聖火傳遞之旅已屢創冬運史新猷。載著聖火和美、俄、日本三名太空人的俄羅斯聯合號太空船，7日從哈薩克升空後與國際太空站接駁，太空人將在9日破天荒帶著聖火來場史無前例的太空漫步。

台北時間7日中午，聯合號從哈薩克的貝康諾太空發射基地升空，橙紅色的火光照耀天際，9分鐘後聯合號脫離火箭，並在台北時間7日下午6時許成功與太空站接駁。太空人泰烏林（俄）、馬斯特拉基奧（美）和若田光一（日）把聖火帶入太空站，交給駐站的俄國太空人科托夫和里亞占斯基，2人在9日將持聖火進行太空漫步的壯舉。

奧運聖火曾在1996和2000年兩度飛入太空，但參與太空漫步是頭一遭。基於安全，聖火不會被點燃。聖火預計11日返回地球。
