科羅拉多州採礦意外 2死20傷

官員表示，科羅拉多州尤瑞郡(Ouray)17日發生採礦意外，造成2名礦工因一氧化碳中毒死亡，20名礦工受傷。

丹佛郵報(Denver Post)報導，當地官員表示，一氧化碳的來源尚不得而知，他們正在調查是否因為採礦過程中的小型爆炸所造成。

尤瑞郡發言人魏摩爾(Marti Whitmore)表示，大部分受傷礦工皆已在治療後出院，只有2人傷勢嚴重，仍留院觀察中。

總部位於科羅拉多州的「恆星礦業有限公司(Star Mine LLC)」營運經理威廉斯(Rory Williams)表示，所有人都必須戴著個人呼吸器，2名不幸身亡的礦工也依規定配戴，因此研判問題不在於設備故障。
