〔自由時報記者梁偉銘／綜合報導〕「輸了一場艱苦球賽，為明天預作準備。」火箭日前加班不敵勇士，8連勝中斷，樂觀如林書豪自省檢討，很快轉化遺憾為動力，把握時間揮汗苦練，尤其台灣時間週一客場挑戰現已3連勝的太陽，豪小子勢必得扮演「最佳第六人」角色，才能協助火箭重新升空，射落火力凶猛的東道主。

或許受到先前交易流言影響，原本2月表現走勢向上的林書豪，近來又陷入盤整低潮，尤其近4戰平均單場火力銳減至9分，與過去火箭5連勝期間高達16分的發燙手感相比，落差相當懸殊，亟待提升投籃準度和進攻信心的台裔後衛，賽前訓練後自我分析：「各方面都要再進化，讓狀況變更好，從上到下都需要。」

本季例行賽已進行3分之2，也過了交易截止日，續留火箭的林書豪，忐忑心情逐漸恢復平穩，《休士頓紀事報》認為，布魯克斯被賣出，對豪小子算利多，至少上場時間可望增加，即使暫時讓出先發位置，他仍可以活棋之姿補強板凳深度，成為火箭不可或缺的奇兵。
