　　由 PopCap 推出的《植物大戰殭屍》在 8 月 15 日推出了二代《Plants vs. Zombies™ 2》，基本玩法與一代差不多，收集陽光、種植各種植物打倒一波波來襲的殭屍，不過二代新增了更多種不同的植物跟殭屍種類，玩家也能用金幣購買法術快速清除殭屍，一開始玩家就進行時空穿越，挑戰古埃及地圖，只要在這張地圖收集足夠的星星就能前往新地圖，收集關卡掉落的特殊道具才能解鎖新植物或增強效果，每張地圖都有三顆星，不過每次挑戰都要全數完成指定目標才能獲得一顆星，建議從第一關的星星開始挑戰會比較容易過關。
