【短片】非洲難民船沉沒　死者恐升至300人

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】一艘搭載逾500人、從利比亞開往義大利的難民船，昨在義大利的蘭佩杜沙島外海處突然起火沉沒。但跟據《法新社》最新消息指出，死亡人數可能攀升至300人，可能是地中海近代最慘重的難民船難事件。

這艘船上載乘的都是尋求庇護的非洲人，他們搭船冒險渡海而來，目的在尋求庇護途徑，希望能移居歐洲。義大利海岸警備隊表示，難民船是從利比亞的黎波里出發，原打算在蘭佩杜沙島（Lampedusa Island）靠岸，但昨上午7時卻在蘭佩杜沙島外海約1公里處突起火沉沒。

警備隊指出指出，船身僅20公尺長，卻擠500多人。目前傳出有159人獲救，但有200多人失蹤，官方估計，可能死亡人數會來到300人。義大利政府宣布今日全國哀悼1日，悼念船難死者。
