美政府關門　彭淮南：這是一件遺憾的事

【王立德／台北報導】美國政府在台北時間10/1中午12點關門，中央銀行總裁彭淮南今日表示，「這是一件很遺憾的事」，不過美國政府關門並不少見，以過去經驗來看，關門短則1天、長則21天，認為本次關門不會太久。
 
彭淮南說，本次為歷史上美國政府第18次關門，但46％民眾認為這是共和黨的問題，在考慮到民意下，本次關門應該也不會太久。
