義眼技術進步　可如眼球轉動

桃園一位老阿嬤義眼日前鬆動滑落，調落在住家二樓遮雨棚上，請求消防隊員找尋，衛福部桃園醫院眼科醫師王璋冀表示，義眼有矯形、填充、超薄、假皮、混合型等。患者當時可能腫瘤比較嚴重，挖除眼部大面積，術後裝置比較複雜的混合型的義眼，因年久關係，密和度不佳，導致容易鬆動、滑落。
 
王璋冀說，裝置義眼分兩階段，第一階段由醫師治療，挖除受損、罹癌等部位，再交給專業的裝置義眼單位後製。王璋冀指出，現在裝置義眼的技術越還越好，若情況不嚴重，摘除眼球的患者裝上填充義眼後，眼睛的肌肉、血管經過一段時間生長、密合，義眼會和正常眼球一樣稍微轉動，不容易看出裝置義眼。（石明啟／桃園報導）
