俗稱「小摩」的摩根大通集團傳出與美國司法部就導致美國引爆金融風暴的房貸證券發行一事，昨天晚間達成協議，賠償金額高達130億美元。

「華爾街日報」報導，摩根大通（JP Morgan）昨天晚間與美國司法部就房屋抵押證券一事達成協議，摩根大通將支付包括40億美元給美國聯邦住房金融局（Federal Housing Finance Agency），以補償誤導房利美（Fannie Mae）與房地美（Freddie Mac）購買房貸證券導致的損失。

另外，還需支付40億美元做為消費者求償之用；50億美元的銀行罰款。總額一共高達130億美元。

不過根據熟悉談判過程的人士透露，消費者求償與銀行罰款大部分將交由政府部門處理，細節尚不清楚。但美國司法部並不會因此放棄繼續以刑事罪名調查或起訴摩根大通。

摩根大通集團在2005年至2007年發行房產抵押擔保證券（MBS），但是2008年發生金融危機，摩根大通集團發行的MBS大幅虧損，並間接引爆美國金融風暴與全球經濟危機。
