李登輝民主協會 今晚辦新北分會成立大會

李登輝民主協會將於晚間6時30分舉辦新北分會的成立大會，除了前總統李登輝將到場致詞，台聯主席黃昆輝、前行政院長謝長廷、有意角逐新北市長的游錫 、民進黨新北市黨部主委羅致政以及台大醫師柯文哲皆會到場支持。

李登輝民主協會於民國100年成立南投分會後，目前已成立9個分會，主辦單位指出，有鑑於新北市為人口第一大都，籌辦將近半年，決定將第10個分會設於此。晚間的成立大會，同時也是民主協會的會員大會，席開100桌，加上工作人員，估計將超過1000人參加，聲勢浩大。這也是李登輝剛結束花蓮、宜蘭的下鄉行程後，首度出席的大型公開場合，也吸引綠營有意參選雙北市的人選前往參與。

2014選舉逐漸逼近，民進黨針對有多位參選者的縣市，成立協調小組，新北市協調工作尚未展開，台北市則仍在徵詢階段，相較於台中市、雲林縣、彰化縣、南投縣、屏東縣等地區人選，陸續將在11月底前到位，雙北市人選決定的腳步明顯緩慢，但也讓有意角逐者擁有更多運作空間。
