愛滋治療疫苗 明年進行試驗

（法新社巴塞隆納9日電） 西班牙1所醫院的研究人員今天宣佈，他們明年將針對已感染愛滋病毒（HIV）的病患，進行1種治療性疫苗試驗。

治療性疫苗是用以治療疾病，而非加以預防。

巴塞隆納這所醫院Hospital Clinic表示，院內將進行這項試驗，以配合該院與西班牙、比利時及荷蘭其他醫院共同進的1項4年研究計畫。

Hospital Clinic傳染病科主任賈德爾（JosepMaria Gatell）說：「試驗是要達到功能性治癒的目標。」

他在記者會中說：「這表示，我們能控制病人體內的愛滋病毒，而不必為他們終生提供抗反轉錄治療。」

賈德爾說，全世界目前有300多萬人感染了愛滋病毒，其中多數是開發中國家人民。

他並說：「抗反轉錄聯合療法固然已證明對防止臨床惡化和死亡具有高效，但它本身無法根除感染，因此迫切需要其他療法。」

這項治療性疫苗研究計畫已獲得600萬歐元經費，由歐洲聯盟執行委員會提供。
