國道收費制度，將有重大變革！目前只限定基隆地區民眾裝設的「eTag」電子收費，三月底前可望開放全國裝設。雖然目前國道仍維持「計次收費」，也就是經過收費站一次40元的方式，自明年起，交通部將把所有收費站拆除，改成在兩個交流道中間裝設感應門架，改以「里程計費」。至於，未來「eTag」的裝設位置，也不同於現行基隆車輛裝設在正中間，而是統一安裝在擋風玻璃右下角。

不用停了再上，逼逼兩聲快速通關，簡單說明了未來國道電子收費將有大轉變。國道明年起改採計程收費，原有的這些收費站將會全數拆除，取而代之的將是跨越南北雙向幹道為數超過300個的感應門架，未來開車上國道，連收費站也全都免了，全部改用感應收費。這個感應器也就是所謂的門架，是架設在交流道和交流道的中間，以現今國道網路來看，需要超過300座門架，大約60～70億的建製經費。
