衝浪賽第3年 金樽港軟硬體再升級

2013年國際衝浪比賽活動在17日順利閉幕，在擁有52位國內衝浪好手的共同競技之下，讓台東金樽成為國際間重要的衝浪比賽海域，而其中硬體設施的規劃及周邊的美化，使得金樽漁港呈現不同以往的面貌。

一塊塊消波塊陳列在海岸邊，民眾利用消波塊的地形地物進行拍攝是這一次衝浪賽最特殊的景象，以金樽的地形，因為了阻擋海浪的侵蝕，擺設消波塊是必要的措施，縣府表示，未來仍將規劃興建看台的部分，還有增設硬體設施來販賣飲料，來吸引觀光客。

金樽衝浪比賽的熱絡岸邊陸地上也有民眾在玩滑板充分發揮衝浪賽的附加價值，台東縣政府表示，金樽港已列為重要的國際衝浪比賽地點，未來仍將繼續硬體的規劃及補強。
