板模工開車撞死腳踏車騎士肇逃

【吳傑沐／苗栗報導】苗栗市長春化工廠作業員林定皋（54歲），昨傍晚5時多騎腳踏下班，沿宜春路才出廠區，就在經國路口，慘遭1輛闖紅燈白色轎車高速撞擊，林男彈飛10多公尺，彈落人行道上，肇事車輛當場逃逸無蹤。宜春經同事發現打電話叫救護車並報警追兇，林男因傷重轉送台中榮總急救，仍宣告不治。

　警方根據路口監視器，鎖定謝姓車主兒子涉嫌重大，但他開車出門後即整夜未歸，電話也關機；直到今天上午9時多，他才主動向警方投案。從事板模工作的肇事男子謝俊勇（26歲）供稱，昨午原本在家睡覺，傍晚接到同事打電話說他在後龍一間薑母鴨店喝醉，要我去載他，才會開車出門。行經肇事路口時，因同事一直打電話催促，趕時間才開快車闖紅燈釀禍。

　謝男說，事發後將轎車棄置在中華路棒球場附近，走路到後龍躲在公司門外一整晚，天亮後問老闆要怎處理，便聽他的話出面投案。全案警方依過失致死及公共危險罪嫌偵辦中。
